A great opening hole to an excellent back nine of golf. Tee shots struck from an elevated tee to a narrow fairway must avoid the bunkers on the right and trees on the left. Players then face a challenging second shot up a steep hill to a hidden green (plus it is hard to see more than just the top of the flagstick). Take an extra club or two, and watch out for the swirling winds, which often knock down shots. Avoid putting from above the hole, since the 10th green, like most of the greens on the back nine, slopes severely from back to front. After you putt out, take a deep breath and savor the wonderful view back down the fairway toward the clubhouse.
